Design the Undefined Conference Guide 2023

Design and Art Directive

My team and I were prompted to created a printed editorial piece, which came to life as a conference guide based around earth-shaking architects and designers from the 1960s and D&AD. This guide is for young, up-and-coming designers to gain understanding of past designers work, methods, and impact. The conference includes lectures, workshops, and round-table discussions with guest speakers.

This was a team effort: Julia Hewitt, Jocelin Flora, Elise Matthews, and myself.

We all worked together throughout the research, ideation and implementation.

The designers included in the piece are Lou Dorfsman, Robert Brownjohn, Buckminister Fuller, Milton Glaser, Corita Kent, George Lois, Yusaku Kamekura, Ikko Tanaka, Ivan Chemayeff, Tom Geismar, Louis Kahn, Shigeo Fukuda, and Seymour Chwast.
